Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning and successful completion of client projects.  Additional responsibilities include responding to requests for proposals, serving as a liaison between the client and technical staff and providing feedback on the performance of Project Leads and Team Members.

Responsibilities
  • Reviews project metrics on a quarterly basis, assess long-term project needs and projections. Reviews the profitability of assigned projects. Evaluates project success and determines root causes.
  • Maintains and builds current and future client relationships. Documents discussions in the CRM system.
  • Interacts with the Client’s Project Managers; attends scope review meetings, meets with code personnel, presents options and solutions for project completion and meeting the client’s requirements.  Communicates project progress and any changes to budget or scope.
  • Documents and communicates client specific standards, preferences and approaches to the project team.  Obtains client feedback on a per project basis and communicates updates with the project team.
  • Coordinates with business partners on projects; ensures areas of responsibility are clear and that PEDCO is operating within the contract parameters.
  • Manages the Project Leads and Project Assistants.
  • Interacts with Discipline Leaders to ensure understanding of project scope, schedule and budget. Utilizes Discipline Leaders expertise during preparation of proposal and development of project budgets.
  • Ensures Project Execution Plans are generated and performs inter-discipline coordination; conducts meetings, monitors the progress and performance of the project.
  • Initiates brainstorming sessions to assist in developing concepts at the beginning of projects.
  • Prepares proposals; Attends pre-proposal meetings and prepares client proposals.
  • Implements PEDCO quality process; ensures proper reviews have occurred in a timely manner and schedules technical peer reviews.
  • Reviews and approves invoices, follows up on accounts receivable greater than 30 days past due.
