This is a Midwest regional conference intended to discuss Midwest sustainability issues and business solutions from across the nation. This is a forum that will help those engaged to reach a more sustainable and resilient world faster by sharing inspiring, real world stories and data driven positive outcomes. The High Performing Buildings Seminar asks you to share your most impactful stories to make the Midwest a stronger region.
This year’s theme is the Business Case for Sustainability, centered around highly impactful strategies and tactics for creating a dialogue to equip leaders to create sustainable value in their organizations. Presentations should illustrate how businesses can solve sustainability challenges while simultaneously benefiting the business’s financial bottom line. We will have four separate tracks for participants.
- Health: Discussions focused on increasing human health outcomes through the design and operation of the built environment.
- Future Technologies/Innovation: Discussions focused on advanced technologies and design thinking that leads to a more sustainable future.
- Energy: Discussions focused on cost effective Net Zero Energy and Net Zero Energy Ready facilities.
- Private/Public Partnerships/Engagement: Discussions focused on achieving high sustainable benchmarks through successful partnerships and engagement.

Selected presenters will obtain free admission to the conference.
No reimbursement is available for travel or lodging expenditures.
Preference will be given to dynamic presenters with experience with delivering high quality knowledge and active audience engagement. Please make it easy on the peer reviewers: be clear, concise, express why your submission will elevate the seminar and share the value for the attendees. Please indicate how your presentation will engage the attendees.
