Congratulations to Our Engineers in Training

PEDCO E & A Services, Inc. congratulates team members Mitch Leary and Terence Hubbard for passing their Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, becoming Engineers in Training, the first step in their career as a Registered Professional Engineer. The first of two exams necessary to becoming a licensed Professional Engineer, the FE exam is discipline-specific, consisting of 110-questions over a 6-hour testing session.

Examinees must apply to be tested in one of seven fields: chemical, civil, electrical and computer, environmental, industrial and systems, mechanical, and other disciplines.  Passing the FE exam shows that an applicant is proficient in basic fundamental engineering principles they learned as an undergraduate student. After completing a given amount of work experience, an Engineer in Training may take the Professional Engineer exam, becoming a Registered Professional Engineer.  Joe Hoffman, COO and President, is proud of the progress Mitch and Terence have made.  “Passing their FE exam is no small feat.  I look forward to watching Mitch and  Terence build their careers with PEDCO.”  Congratulations Mitch and Terence!
